SUN PROTECTION
The need: Maximum skin protection against UV rays from the sun
The UV rays emitted from the sun are the main cause of skin damage and premature aging. UVB are medium-wave rays that produce heat and cause redness and sunburns while UVA are long-wave rays that operate below the surface. They do not cause redness or burns like UVB rays, but penetrate into the skin layers and cause long-term damage to the dermis layer. Over time, this damage leads to the destruction of supporting collagen and elastin fibers, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and even skin cancer. In order to protect the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays and minimize damage to the skin, it is highly recommended to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen offering protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
